Forma Clay is a community pottery and ceramics studio in Minneapolis for makers at every level, from first-time students to people developing a long-term clay practice. The studio emphasizes skill building, thoughtful instruction, care for materials, and shared responsibility, creating a supportive place to learn, experiment, and make useful or sculptural work.

Its offerings include one-day workshops for beginners and multi-week classes that build skills through guided instruction and feedback. Young Potters programming serves children and teens, while private events provide another way to experience pottery. Members can access the studio 24/7, with wheels, handbuilding areas, in-house glazes, and shared and specialty tools. Potters Hours offer supervised studio time for members and adult students, with an experienced potter available for demonstrations, advice, and technical support.

Forma Clay also hosts a gallery featuring work by members, instructors, and artists, along with events and free quarterly Community Clay Days. Gift cards are available, and memberships are managed through a waitlist to preserve studio access and quality.
