Formance is a leading brand that offers a comprehensive platform for developers and businesses. With a focus on empowering users, Formance provides a range of products and services to enhance efficiency and maximize productivity. One of their key offerings is the Formance Platform, which allows users to create a sandbox environment on Formance Cloud using the Formance CLI (Command Line Interface).

This CLI serves as the simplest way to get started with the platform and provides users with full control over their infrastructure. Formance embraces a CloudPrem architecture, giving users the flexibility to choose how much they want to run on their own infrastructure and how much they want to leverage the power of Formance Cloud. This architecture allows for seamless integration and scalability.

To ensure ease of installation, Formance provides various options. Users can install the CLI using Homebrew for macOS, Linux, and Windows. Binaries for fctl are also available for direct download from the GitHub releases page.

Furthermore, Formance offers installation guides for Debian/Ubuntu users, making it accessible to a wide range of developers. To verify that the installation process is successful, users can check the version of Formance CLI using the fctl version command. Formance also emphasizes the importance of user support.
