Formula Hybrid is an innovative and dynamic competition founded by the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in 2006. Taking place annually at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, this event draws undergraduate and graduate students from various universities to participate in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Collegiate Design Series. Participants engage in a comprehensive design and engineering challenge, where they collaboratively create formula-style hybrid or electric-only racecars, emphasizing drivetrain innovation and fuel efficiency.
