Formula Foundry S.r.l.

Formula Foundry is an innovative research and development startup offering software to help foundries design, adjust, and monitor die-casting processes for zinc alloy (zamak) and aluminum. Developed from practical industry experience in Italy’s Brescia and Bergamo manufacturing regions, its patented method combines mathematical calculations with real production data to support more consistent, efficient operations.

The software enables users to enter or design mold process parameters, receive guidance on suitable equipment and production settings, and connect to casting machines using mobile devices. It monitors machine injection parameters and process temperatures, helping teams compare actual conditions with theoretical data, refine settings, and identify potential product nonconformities.

Formula Foundry aims to reduce scrap, rework, mold trials, energy use, and production costs while improving casting quality, process stability, and production speed. The platform is available in seven languages and is designed for foundries internationally. The company also offers a free trial, guided installation, and training for personnel working in production processes, design, and quality control.
