Formula Student Switzerland (FS Switzerland) is an event organization that brings the international Formula Student community together for a week of engineering competition, innovation, and networking. Its competition offers student teams an additional opportunity to participate in Europe, where demand for event places can exceed availability. The organization also aims to benefit Swiss industry and encourage engineering education and collaboration among students.
The first Formula Student Switzerland event took place in July 2022. The competition is held in Goms, in the Swiss mountains, and the 2027 event is scheduled for 23–29 August. Reflecting its focus on innovation and electric mobility, FS Switzerland accepts only electric cars. The event provides a platform for teams to compete and connect with industry and fellow students.
