Fornino is a renowned artisanal pizza brand that originated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2004. Since then, it has become a favorite among Brooklyn locals, thanks to its decadent toppings and perfectly done crusts. With a commitment to top-quality ingredients, Fornino sources each individual ingredient for the highest possible quality.
Having earned numerous awards, including the title of Best Pizza In NY, Fornino now has multiple locations. These include a historic Greenpoint location, a large seasonal waterfront location in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and a recently opened pizzeria in the heart of Dumbo at Time Out New York. At Fornino, the menu takes you on a journey through the history of pizza.
Starting with Naples, the First Generation of pizza is certified DOP by the Italian government. Moving on to Italy, the Second Generation presents traditional flavors from different regions of the country. Finally, Fornino's own creative combinations form the Third Generation, crafted by their world-class pizza makers.
Owned by Chef Michael Ayoub, a Brooklyn native with over 45 years of culinary experience, Fornino is a true passion project. Michael's love for pizza and his culinary expertise led him to create Fornino, a name inspired by his mother's maiden name, meaning Little Oven. Beyond the pizza, visitors to Fornino Greenpoint can also appreciate Michael's talents as a glass artist, with his hand-blown lights and sculptures on display.
Come and experience the difference that quality makes at Fornino. Whether you choose to visit their Greenpoint, Brooklyn Bridge Park, or Dumbo location, you're in for a treat
