About Foro de Organizaciones Humanitarias en Colombia
Foro de ONG de Colombia is a platform consisting of 28 organizations dedicated to addressing multiple humanitarian crises in Colombia. Since its establishment in 2018, this forum has been committed to promoting consensus for a better humanitarian response to the population affected by armed conflict, the refugee/migrant crisis from Venezuela, natural disasters, and the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. Their goal is to improve coordination, efficiency, and coherence in providing humanitarian aid.
With a focus on coordination and representation, communication, information management, and capacity building, Foro de ONG de Colombia facilitates partnerships and agreements among humanitarian actors and other national and international institutions. They have a presence in all 31 departments of Colombia and an average of 7,024 humanitarian workers, with a reach of approximately 2. 1 million people annually.
