Forrest Green Farm

Forrest Green Farm is a family-owned and operated farm in Louisa, Virginia, run by the Rahm family for more than 30 years. Its 423-acre farm follows regenerative practices intended to improve the land, which the family describes as “Beyond Organic,” though the farm is not certified organic. The animals and land are raised without harmful pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, GMOs, synthetic fertilizers, or fillers.

The farm offers 100% grass-fed and finished beef, pasture-raised chicken and eggs, and seasonal produce, including a winter CSA. Its nursery sells seasonal starts, culinary and medicinal herbs, native plants, heirloom vegetables and flowers, plus selections of landscape and fruit plants. Visitors can explore the gardens and shop year-round at the Market on the Farm and Gift Shop.

Forrest Green Farm also makes herbal products, including loose-leaf teas, salves, body care, electrolyte drink mix, seasonings, and flower essences, and offers wellness books, classes, and farm events. Products are available at the farm and online, with free shipping on orders over $50.
