About Forritarar
Forritarar framtíðarinnar is a brand dedicated to promoting and fostering interest in programming and technology among children and teenagers. They aim to enhance education and curiosity in these fields. As a social project, Forritarar framtíðarinnar works to increase the utilization of programming and technology in schools across the country.
They offer various opportunities for support and collaboration, including grants for teachers to enhance their programming and technology teaching skills, funding for the creation of educational materials, and assistance in acquiring necessary equipment. Companies in the business sector can also become involved by contributing monetary donations or computer equipment to the project. Grunn- and framhaldsskólar (elementary and secondary schools) as well as local municipalities are eligible to apply for support.
