Fortius is a women’s curling team based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Its name comes from the Latin word for “stronger,” reflecting the team’s commitment to continuing to move forward and improve. The team’s four-leaf-clover logo combines an image of a curling stone in motion with the four original members.
