PI & Other Tales

PI & Other Tales is a creative research and development studio that builds generative experiences for mobile, publishing and screen. Its work brings together storytelling, games and emerging technology, with projects ranging from illustrated books to mixed-reality experiences and real-time 3D worlds.

The studio’s featured title, Fortunes Told: A Voyager’s Guide to Life Between Worlds, is available in hardcover, paperback and ebook formats. The story follows Lukas, whose discovery of a Tarot deck opens a path between London and the uncanny world of Arcanum. The series also includes Japanese-language editions presented in traditional vertical text, with illustrations, and a planned deluxe print Choose Your Own Adventure edition featuring more than 100 story arcs.

For readers, a companion app is in development as a mixed-reality adventure shaped by choices in the story and users’ real-world habits. The associated Fortunes Told Collection includes homeware and accessories. Beyond the book series, Other Tales explores generative game development, including real-time 3D cityscapes reconstructed from geographical map data and shaped by weather and traffic.
