FOAESP

FOAESP, the Forum of AIDS NGOs of the State of São Paulo, is a civil society organization that brings together member organizations and advocates for health rights and stronger public policies. Its work focuses particularly on HIV and AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis C, and related public health concerns. The forum promotes civic participation and social oversight of health policies, and conducts advocacy with legislative and executive authorities to improve dialogue and help secure access to diagnosis, treatment, medicines, and health technologies.

FOAESP’s projects include Health Advocacy, Health and Advocacy II, initiatives to democratize access to treatment and address monopolies, and advocacy related to hepatitis C. The organization also supports collaboration among NGOs through meetings, partnerships, working groups, and national gatherings such as the Enong. Its activities include sharing news, public statements, campaign information, guidance, and updates on health policy, prevention, and care. Through these efforts, FOAESP works to strengthen the participation of affected communities and advance equitable access to healthcare across São Paulo State.
