About Foro Mundial de Cooperativas Vitivinícolas
The Foro Mundial de Cooperativas Vitivinícolas (World Forum of Wine Cooperative) is a gathering and debating platform for the largest cooperative wineries in the main wine-producing regions of the world. Since 2011, this forum has brought together thousands of wine, sparkling wine, and must producers from America, Europe, and Oceania. Guided by the values of mutual aid, equality, solidarity, and equity, the forum aims to promote strategic alliances to enhance the competitiveness of all wine cooperatives in the global market.
With over 63% of the world's wine production being of cooperative origin, and only 12% being directly sold to consumers, it is crucial for producers and consumers to work together. The forum's mission is to foster fair and equitable trade for both producers and consumers, under the paradigm of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Through this forum, the world's leading wine cooperatives can collaborate and find common ground for the advancement of the industry
