FORWARD UK is a leading African women-led organization dedicated to ending violence against women and girls. Our vision is to create a world where African girls and women live with dignity, enjoy equal rights, and are free from violence and fear. We work tirelessly to achieve this mission by addressing various forms of abuse and discrimination, such as female genital mutilation, child marriage, domestic violence, and sexual violence.

Our approach is twofold. On one hand, we directly support affected women and girls on the ground, empowering them with skills and knowledge and nurturing the next generation of women leaders. On the other hand, we strategically challenge decision-makers and practitioners through community research, partnerships, and advocacy.

With over 30 years of experience, FORWARD speaks with one voice to protect the rights and dignity of African women and girls.
