For Women Scotland is a grassroots women’s group established in response to concerns about the potential impact of the Scottish Government’s plans to reform the Gender Recognition Act. We are a not-for-profit company operated by volunteers, and we do not receive public funding or align with any political party. Our primary goal is to advocate for women’s and children's rights across Scotland.

We campaign on equality and human rights issues that affect women and children, participate in cultural and educational activities, and collaborate with various levels of government and political parties in the UK. We believe in the importance of preserving women's legal rights, privacy, safety, and fairness. Our activities include consultations, public meetings, and participating in judicial review cases.

Most notably, we recently won an appeal that highlighted the legal significance of sex and women’s concerns about the protection of their rights.
