Foundation for Women's Health

Foundation for Women's Health Promotion and Welfare Initiatives (FWHPWI) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization based in Pretoria, South Africa. Established in 2019, our mission is to combat the growing incidence of gynecological cancers in Africa. We are driven by the plight of millions of African women who are affected by these cancers, and we believe that through prevention, education, and affordable therapies, we can make a difference.

At FWHPWI, we organize various initiatives to raise awareness about gynecological cancers. This includes cancer awareness campaigns, early detection outreach programs, and educational initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle. We also focus on researching indigenous resources to develop novel therapeutics and affordable pharmaceutical products for cancer and osteoporosis.

Our organization comprises dedicated program units, each managed by a committee of members. These units include cancer research, risk reduction campaigns, advocacy outreach, caregiver training, and gynecological cancer awareness. Each unit is supported by specialized teams, including research, education, health and wellness, editorial, and fundraising teams.

If you are passionate about women's health and want to make a difference, join us as a member, volunteer, or donor. Together, we can work towards a future where gynecological cancers are prevented and treated effectively. Contact us today for more information
