Foundations is the national What Works Centre for Children & Families, dedicated to ensuring that all children have the essential relationships they need to thrive in life. Through extensive research and evaluation of family support services and interventions, Foundations is focused on generating actionable evidence to improve these services and empower decision makers to make effective policy and practice changes. By merging two sister organizations, What Works for Children's Social Care and the Early Intervention Foundation, in December 2022, Foundations brings together the best of their research and evidence for the benefit of vulnerable children.
The goal is to create a safer and happier environment at home, fostering healthier lives for these children.
