About Fountain Of Hope Ame Church | Las Vegas NV
Fountain of Hope African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, founded in 2002 by a passionate group of believers led by William Dean Ishman, is dedicated to spreading Christ's liberating gospel and serving the needs of all individuals. It all began with an exploratory meeting held at the home of William Dean and Diane Ishman on October 5, 2002. The initial attempts to establish an AME church in Henderson, Nevada had been met with challenges, but in 2002, the timing was right.
Reverend Dr. A. Lee Henderson, appointed by Dr.
Howard S. Gloyd, became the founding pastor, and the church was officially established as Fountain Of Hope African Methodist Episcopal Church. The church's mission is to minister to people's spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional needs through word and deed.
