Four Winds Samurai Arts

Four Winds Samurai Arts is an official Nami ryu Aiki Heiho dojo serving North San Diego County. The school offers instruction in Japanese swordsmanship and traditional Aiki Jujutsu, welcoming students at all skill levels. Its classes aim to develop discipline, resilience, and mental clarity alongside practical martial skills.

The curriculum includes jujutsu and aiki applications described as subtle and effective, with techniques taught in keeping with their original purposes and principles. These methods are rooted in a historical context in which edged weapons were commonplace, reflecting the traditions that inform Nami ryu practice. Training emphasizes responding to threats without relying on anticipation, assumption, or judgment, and cultivating awareness of the present moment.

In addition to regular classes, Four Winds Samurai Arts shares information about workshops, gatherings, and other training opportunities hosted by affiliated dojos and instructors. Its website provides details about the school and its programs, contact information, event announcements, and a newsletter signup for people interested in staying connected with its activities.
