Foyer du Porteau

Le Foyer du Porteau is a community association that brings people together through cultural, recreational, and social activities. Its programme spans regular classes, special events, and gatherings for a range of interests and ages. Members can take part in traditional dance, historical martial arts (AMHE), role-playing games, walking, pétanque, tarot, gardening, scrapbooking, and fitness activities, including senior exercise and gym sessions for people affected by cancer.

The association also organises seasonal celebrations, themed role-playing evenings, family activities, theatre performances, hikes, plant swaps, barbecues, and community events such as blood donation drives. Its Festival Ludique Officiel du Porteau (F.L.O.P.) features board games, children’s games, miniature gaming, and role-playing, with refreshments available. Workshops and introductory sessions provide opportunities to try activities such as role-playing and traditional dance, while the dance workshop welcomes newcomers with two free trial sessions. The Foyer du Porteau also offers venue rental. Based at Salle Gérard Gaschet on rue de la Grange Saint-Pierre, it serves as a welcoming local hub for participation, shared interests, and community life.
