The Portuguese Draughts Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Damas, or FPD) is the national organization dedicated to developing and promoting draughts in Portugal. It supports the game as both a competitive sport and a community activity, emphasizing teamwork, mutual respect, dedication, discipline, and fair play. Its website brings together information for players, clubs, schools, and enthusiasts, including competition calendars, results, rankings, titles, and historical records.

The federation covers Portuguese draughts and international draughts, with resources on openings and rated play. It organizes and publicizes national championships, open tournaments, and other events, and celebrates the achievements of players and champions. The FPD also provides a broad library of materials, including technical and artistic publications, videos, and image resources.

Its school sports section shares information for schools and educational partners, while federation news, governance details, regulations, and legislation help keep the community informed.
