About Free Press for Eastern Europe
Free Press for Eastern Europe (FPEE) is a non-profit organization based in Prague, Czech Republic, established in April 2016 with support from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs Transition Promotion Program. Our primary goal is to promote and uphold independent media and journalism in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as other regions. Our team, comprising media professionals from 8 different countries who collectively speak more than 10 languages, works tirelessly every day to collaborate with trusted independent media outlets.
We strive to ensure that their audiences have access to reliable, high-quality, and engaging information. FPEE is a sister organization of the international press freedom NGO Free Press Unlimited. Whether through projects, the latest news, or privacy policy, we are dedicated to supporting and empowering independent media across the globe.
