The Portuguese Golf Federation (FPG) is the national organisation supporting and developing golf in Portugal. Its work spans players, clubs, courses, tournament organisers and other members of the golf community, with resources for participation, competition, training and sport development. The Federation provides membership services, individual online registration, information on sports medical examinations and adapted golf, alongside handicap tools and course-rating systems aligned with the World Handicap System. It also offers digital and software support, golf rules resources, and information on Portugal’s golf courses and approved Pitch & Putt venues.

FPG promotes the sport through development programmes, national teams, academy certification and initiatives designed to introduce new players to golf. Its activities include competitions and events, including the Open de Portugal and the Super Bock Ladies Open. Through the National Golf School at Jamor and the Oeiras Green Valley Municipal Golf Academy, it supports learning and practice for players at different levels. The Federation also shares golf news, rankings, documentation and employment opportunities related to golf facilities, teaching and course maintenance.
