The company’s work includes deterioration-prediction technology for water pipes and gas pipelines, developed with industry partners, as well as the “±Move” service, which forecasts future water-supply populations. Fracta Japan aims to help infrastructure providers make informed, long-term decisions and safeguard the everyday services communities rely on, including clean water and gas.

The company has also collaborated with gas network operators on algorithms for predicting deterioration in gas service pipes. Its AI-based infrastructure maintenance work received the Prime Minister’s Award at the eighth Infrastructure Maintenance Awards.
