Fractal RPG

Fractal RPG is an innovative game system that embraces the concept of fractals, characterized by endless geometric patterns. Designed to be setting-agnostic, the system adapts seamlessly to various games and worlds. At its core, Fractal RPG utilizes dice as a fundamental element, where everything from characters to challenges is defined by different die sizes, creating a unique gameplay experience that emphasizes complexity through simplicity.

Originating in 2019 and significantly developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fractal RPG system evolved through numerous iterations and real-world testing. The initial setting, Dark Vigil, reflects themes of corruption and humanity's fall, woven into its mechanics. With each public playtest, such as those at Conquest and PAX conventions, feedback shaped the game into its refined state, balancing fun with engaging storytelling.

Looking ahead, Fractal RPG is set to launch the Dark Vigil Quickstart at PAX AUS 2023, promising more thrilling adventures and community involvement in its ongoing evolution. Follow the journey on social media for updates and insights.
