Cefalù Paragliding is a family-run tourism initiative in Sicily, created by a Dutch family with Sicilian ancestors who chose to leave the busy life in the Netherlands. Based around Cefalù, the project introduces visitors to the island’s dramatic landscapes, local culture and relaxed way of life, with paragliding presented as a memorable way to experience the region from above. The surrounding scenery includes the Mediterranean coast and the Madonie mountains, part of a protected regional natural park.

Beyond its focus on adventure, Cefalù Paragliding helps visitors plan a broader Sicilian stay. The family can arrange accommodation in Cefalù and nearby areas, where options include hotels, agriturismi, holiday homes and apartments. They also offer help with driving around Sicily, including navigating historic town centres. Food and local traditions are part of the experience, with an emphasis on the region’s distinctive cuisine and way of life. The initiative’s stated mission is to bring visitors and work to small Sicilian villages, helping sustain the area by sharing its natural beauty and welcoming communities.
