They believe that volunteering plays a crucial role in building a cohesive and inclusive society based on solidarity and social inclusiveness. France Bénévolat has three primary missions. Firstly, they strive to promote volunteering in non-profit organizations.

They also assist volunteer candidates in finding appropriate missions based on their interests, skills, location, and availability. Acting as intermediaries, they connect individuals seeking commitments with organizations in need of voluntary skills. Lastly, France Bénévolat provides training on volunteering-related issues to its members and stakeholders, particularly on volunteer recruitment, integration, and support.

They also offer their Volunteer Passport, the Passeport Bénévole®, to provide recognition to volunteers and help them develop their skills. With an extensive network of 80 major national non-profit associations and 6,000 local member associations, France Bénévolat is committed to making a difference in people's lives
