Frankenwald-Lodge

Frankenwald-Lodge is a luxury holiday home in the heart of the Franconian Forest, located in Döbra, Schwarzenbach am Wald, Germany. Designed for restful stays alone or as a couple, it combines a modern, welcoming interior with a peaceful natural setting. A 2021 renovation transformed a building dating from the 1950s into an innovative, lower-carbon holiday home, incorporating regional materials such as slate from Bavaria’s only slate mine.

Guests can enjoy a private wellness area with a covered outdoor whirlpool, sauna, relaxation loungers, panoramic views and an outdoor shower. The lodge also features a panoramic terrace with sun loungers, an outdoor grill and seating, plus a luxury kitchen with high-quality appliances and a wine cooler. Other amenities include a fireplace, home entertainment system, rain shower, box-spring bed and secure storage for bicycles or ski equipment.

A photovoltaic system generates electricity for features including the underfloor heating, whirlpool and sauna. Smart-home controls and an electric vehicle charging station add convenience. Frankenwald-Lodge offers booking services and information about nearby nature and attractions.
