Das VIKTOR FRANKL ZENTRUM WIEN wurde 2004 von der Logotherapeutin Johanna Schechner, MSc und der Logopädagogin Dipl.Päd. Prof. Heidemarie Zürner, BEd als Zentrum für Sinn- und Existenzfragen gegründet. Es handelt sich um eine gemeinnützige Bildungseinrichtung mit Schwerpunkt Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, welche die sinnorientierte Lehre von Viktor E. Frankl – die Logotherapie und Existenzanalyse - einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich macht. Das Zentrum sieht es als seine Hauptaufgabe, dem Sinnlosigkeitsgefühl der heutigen Gesellschaft etwas entgegenzusetzen und Möglichkeiten einer SINN-vollen Lebensgestaltung aufzuzeigen.
