Mauritzer Franziskanerinnen is an established brand founded by the Franco Waverines of Münster, St. Mauritz. Their way of life is defined by the principles they live by and their daily routine as religious sisters, all within the context of a rich and eventful history.

They reside in smaller and larger communities known as Konvente, committed to the Franciscan values of simplicity and sisterhood. Their day follows a rhythmic pattern of prayer, work, and leisure. Morning prayers (Laudes) are held together, followed by the Eucharist, with each sister individually praying the night prayer (Komplet).

Through personal assignments, each sister contributes to their shared mission of helping the less fortunate, a calling that dates back to the founding of the order. The specific tasks and locations are determined through ongoing dialogue with the provincial leadership. In their free time, the sisters have the freedom to pursue activities of their choice as long as they align with the Franciscan simplicity.
