FRATRES Nazionale

FRATRES is an Italian volunteer association inspired by Christian values and dedicated to promoting blood donation as an act of solidarity, generosity, and care for life. Its national federation brings together local donor groups across Italy, including groups associated with the Misericordie. FRATRES encourages donations that are voluntary, anonymous, regular, free of charge, and responsible, and relies on trained volunteers who support donors and raise awareness in their communities.

The organization helps people learn how to become donors, provides information about donation and its requirements, and connects prospective donors with nearby groups. Its initiatives include activities for young people, donor gatherings, community events, and public campaigns that promote donation and volunteering. FRATRES also shares news and educational resources, coordinates national events and assemblies, and works with institutions and other organizations involved in promoting the culture of giving. Through its network and outreach, the association seeks to strengthen participation in blood donation and help meet the needs of people whose lives depend on it.
