About Bundesverband Frauenberatungsstellen und Frauennotrufe
This organization represents over 160 women's counseling centers and emergency hotlines across Germany, providing easily accessible and local support to women and girls affected by violence for over 30 years. The association offers a range of services to support women in need, including assistance for refugees from Ukraine, a nationwide helpline, and various support programs such as women's counseling centers, self-help groups, and trauma clinics. Additionally, bff: Bundesverband actively engages in campaigns and initiatives to combat sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace, digital violence, and supports the implementation of the Istanbul Convention.
They also focus on improving medical care and confidential evidence collection for survivors of sexual and physical violence.
