About Frauenwohl Babyglück
Frauenwohl & Babyglück is the practice of Carina Welzel, a doula, breastfeeding consultant and parent adviser serving families in Bochum, Herne and the surrounding area, with online appointments also available. Carina supports women and families from fertility and pregnancy through birth, postpartum recovery and early parenthood. Her services include continuous doula care, preparation for birth, postpartum support, breastfeeding and complementary-feeding consultations, and baby sleep guidance.
She also offers therapeutic women’s massage, pregnancy and postnatal massage, support for concerns such as birth trauma and fear of childbirth, and bonding baths to encourage connection with a baby. Courses and learning opportunities include baby massage, birth preparation, baby sleep talks and complementary-feeding seminars. Her approach combines evidence-informed, practical advice with bodywork and emotional support, tailored to each family’s needs.
Care is described as attachment-based, trauma-sensitive and focused on helping clients feel informed, supported and more confident in their own abilities. Services are available through individual consultations, ongoing support and small-group courses
