Fredriksborg Hotel, is a historic secluded retreat hotel in the beuatiful Stockholm Archipelago, ca 45min by car, bus or boat from Sthlm. The majestic fortress (1735) protected Sthlm for a 100 years and is today part of the hotel and available for weddings, events, guided tours etc. The hotel area comprises of gardens, sea deck, event tent, orangery, sea decks with a great views over the archipelago. The hotel with 15 rooms/30 beds was created in 2013-1015 in 1700s building. The old style rpeserved but all modern underneat with WC, WiFi TV etc. There are several dining areas and a conference room sitting up to 20 people. Fredriksborg Hotel is a small, personal hotel set beside Oxdjupet, where Värmdö meets Vaxholm in the Stockholm archipelago. Housed in two former officers’ buildings dating from the 1720s and 1750s, the hotel opened after their renovation in 2013–2015. Their historic character, including tiled stoves, wood-burning stoves and timber floors, has been preserved. The 15 rooms have private bathrooms, televisions and Wi-Fi, and the property offers views across the water and surrounding gardens.
Guests can book overnight stays and packages, or enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner and seasonal dining in the Stone Barracks, the heated orangery or outdoors in summer. Fredriksborg also hosts weddings, celebrations, conferences and events, with options to reserve parts or all of the site. From May to September, visitors can explore the historic fortress, join a guided tour or take in the archipelago from its observation tower. The hotel welcomes groups and conference guests year-round by arrangement, and can be reached by car, boat, bus or ferry.
