Fred Smith Christmas Trees is a family-run Christmas tree business based in Boxted, near Colchester, Essex. Fred Smith and two generations of his family have grown and sold Christmas trees for more than 50 years, offering a seasonal selection from their farmstead. Trees range from around 1 metre to 10 metres tall, with ready-dug and pre-cut options available. Customers can choose from three varieties, including cut and rooted trees, and the business also features holly and wreaths. For larger trees intended for commercial use, customers can contact the team to discuss options.

The business welcomes visitors seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm, and can arrange local delivery of regular-sized trees. Its 10-point tree care plan offers guidance to help customers look after their purchase. Fred Smith Christmas Trees also supports local causes, including St Helena Hospice, to which it has donated trees over the years. Based at West View on Straight Road, the business serves customers preparing homes and commercial spaces for the festive season.
