About Freedom Business Alliance
Freedom Business Alliance is a global alliance dedicated to eradicating human trafficking by addressing its economic roots. As an industry facilitator, our work focuses on supporting Freedom Businesses, which provide safe employment opportunities for survivors and those at risk of human trafficking. Unlike traditional businesses, Freedom Businesses often operate in locations with limited employment opportunities, making a significant impact on vulnerable communities.
Our work began in 2013 as a conversation among industry leaders, and we became a registered nonprofit in 2015. We have since used a Deloitte-developed framework to identify and address the unique challenges faced by Freedom Businesses. Through pioneering research, we determine best practices in restorative employment for survivors.
We also provide consulting, coaching, and training to help Freedom Businesses grow and create more jobs. Additionally, we strive to raise awareness of the Freedom Business movement, making it famous around the world. By joining Freedom Business Alliance, you can be a part of the business solution to human trafficking and receive updates on Freedom Businesses and opportunities to participate in discussions and initiatives.
