Move At Your Own Pace (MAYOP), an organization presented as Move At Your Own Pace, LLC, promotes movement, cardiovascular health, and wellness. In collaboration with the Florida Department of Health, MAYOP organized the Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk in Daytona Beach, Florida, celebrating freedom and liberty while encouraging community members to walk or run. The planned event featured an in-person 5K along the Riverfront Esplanade and a virtual 5K option, with a medal and shirt.
Participants were also offered a custom race shirt, finisher medal, post-race gathering, and eligibility for age-group awards. A portion of event proceeds was intended to support local health initiatives or student scholarships. The organizer announced that the 2025 race was canceled because of unforeseen circumstances and said registration fees and donations would be fully refunded.
MAYOP encouraged people to stay active at their own pace and shared plans to expand beyond future race opportunities by connecting participants with health and wellness professionals
