Freedom KC

Freedom KC is an association of Freedom Groups for men and Support Groups for wives, focused on helping individuals and couples affected by unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal trauma. Its men’s groups serve those seeking freedom from sexually driven behavior, while its women’s support groups are intended for wives who have experienced betrayal trauma. The organization offers local groups in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas, as well as Zoom groups available to people living elsewhere in the United States.

Freedom Groups are Christ-centered work and accountability groups. Their approach emphasizes moving forward in recovery from sexual addiction through a 12-step program, supported by spirit, soul, and body healing. The stated aim is to help men become “lions,” described as warrior-leaders in the Church. Freedom KC provides information about its groups and contact options through its website, alongside resources for those seeking support. Overall, it connects men pursuing recovery with structured peer accountability and offers support for wives navigating the impact of betrayal.
