Freedom Ministries Lighthouse

Freedom Ministries Lighthouse is a Christ-centered recovery community in Lakemont, Georgia, dedicated to helping people overcome substance abuse through shared experience, faith, and mutual support. Its primary offering is a structured, 12-month sober living program for men, set in the peaceful mountains of Rabun County. The program provides a safe, supportive environment where residents can build lasting sobriety, renew their sense of identity, and work toward a purposeful future.

Residents receive guidance through structured daily living, peer support, mentorship, accountability, spiritual growth, and employment guidance. The organization’s approach is grounded in Christian faith and emphasizes compassion, dignity, acceptance, and forgiveness. Admission requires residents to be at least 21 years old, substance-free for 72 hours, and not in need of detoxification; a urine drug screen is required upon arrival.

Freedom Ministries Lighthouse also welcomes community involvement through donations and volunteering. For individuals seeking help, or families supporting a loved one, the organization offers information about its recovery program, admission process, and residence, along with a direct way to connect with its team.
