About Freedom Ride
Freedom Ride is a non-profit organization in Central Florida that is passionate about enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Established in 1998, Freedom Ride offers therapeutic horseback riding and related activities to individuals with various disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, multiple sclerosis, and learning disabilities. Their dedicated team of certified instructors, equine specialists, and trained volunteers work together to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for riders to develop physical strength, cognitive skills, and emotional well-being.
Through horseback riding, participants not only improve their balance, coordination, and core strength but also build trust, confidence, and emotional bonds with the horses.
