Free Movement

Free Movement is a Haarlem-based movement and fitness brand focused on helping people stay active, build confidence, and enjoy a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Its approach combines professional guidance, structured training, and an emphasis on fun, whether participants are exercising indoors, outdoors, or on the water. The brand offers stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayak rentals, SUP lessons for beginners and more experienced paddlers, and tours exploring the waters around Haarlem and the North Sea.

Lessons develop safe paddling technique, fitness, and confidence, with tailored challenges and training options for those preparing to race. Free Movement also provides personal training designed around each client’s physique, mobility, goals, and lifestyle. In addition, it delivers training for aspiring SUP instructors, including internationally recognized ASI certification; the site identifies Ricardo Haverschmidt as the only Dutch SUP trainer authorized to issue this certificate in Europe.
