FreeSki Academy Brno

FreeSki Academy Brno is a ski club based in Brno, Czech Republic, founded in 2012 to help children develop through sport. The club combines ski training with a focus on personal growth, sound habits, general athletic ability, and enjoyment of movement. Its priority is to make skiing rewarding for children at every level, from beginners to experienced racers.

The academy offers several training groups. RACE prepares young athletes aged 6 to 21 for alpine skiing competitions, while the GRASSKI group trains for grass-skiing events and helps athletes stay active between winter seasons. FUN introduces children to basic and alpine skiing, building technique and broader movement skills in an enjoyable setting; some participants also take part in races. Training includes on-snow sessions, conditioning, and summer grass skiing from May to September.

Members compete in events ranging from local and national series to Czech championships and international FIS races. The club’s experienced coaches include former alpine and grass-skiing competitors, who support children’s development across age groups and abilities.
