The German Förderverein für Freiberger Horses is a community dedicated to promoting and preserving the Freiberger horse breed. Bringing together horse enthusiasts, owners and other people interested in the breed, the association encourages members to share knowledge, learn from one another and stay connected. It offers guidance on topics related to Freiberger horses, including buying and breeding, and provides opportunities to exchange experiences with fellow members.
The association supports this community through regular gatherings, including annual meetings and informal meetups. Members can also keep up with news about the organisation and the breed through its newsletter and the “Freiberger Herold” publication. For those who would like to take part, the association provides information about membership and its statutes.
An online shop offers club clothing suited to stable work, riding and association events, along with other fan merchandise and gift vouchers. Both members and non-members are welcome to shop, with purchases helping to support the association.
