About Freie Trauungen Vechta
Freie Trauung Vechta is the wedding ceremony service of Uwe Kerssens, who helps couples create a personal celebration shaped around their relationship and preferences. Based in Vechta, Uwe offers individually tailored free wedding ceremonies, with couples choosing the location, format and atmosphere. Ceremonies can take place somewhere meaningful to the couple, such as a lakeside setting, a reception venue or their own garden.
A central part of the service is a custom-written speech that tells the couple’s life and love story with warmth, sensitivity and humor. Couples can also shape the ceremony’s personal vows and choose whether to include instrumental music, singing or a quieter, romantic setting. Uwe draws on more than 20 years of experience as a civil registrar, where he focused on the personal stories of marrying couples, as well as experience managing a restaurant in Vechta.
He offers private preliminary conversations to help couples feel comfortable and discuss their wishes before the ceremony
