About Frei Fotballklubb
Frei Fotballklubb is one of Kristiansund’s largest community football clubs, based at Omsundet in Frei. Certified as an NFF Quality Club, it aims to be an important community presence and help children and young people enjoy a positive upbringing through organized football. The club offers activities for girls and boys across children’s and youth teams, as well as senior men’s and women’s teams, oldboys football and opportunities to participate as a referee. It also supports player and coach development, with a sports plan and guidance for coaches and team leaders.
Frei FK’s facilities include the Omsundet and Rensvik artificial-turf pitches, a clubhouse and Freihallen. Omsundet is the club’s main venue, featuring a modern FIFA Quality Pro artificial-turf system and LED floodlighting. The club organizes its annual Freihallen Cup, along with events such as open days and “All Girls on the Pitch.” Membership, a club shop and partnership opportunities are available. Local businesses can support the club and gain visibility through stadium signage, clothing, the website and social media.
