FreiGeist

Frei.Geist is the relationship counseling practice of Katharina Anna Bernard, supporting individuals and couples facing difficulties in their relationships. Based in Vorarlberg, Austria, the practice also offers online counseling, making support accessible beyond the local area. Katharina has accompanied more than 750 couples and helps clients find clarity, strengthen connection, and make lasting changes without blame.

Counseling addresses recurring conflicts, communication breakdowns, emotional distance, withdrawal, affairs and breaches of trust, as well as uncertainty about separation or whether to stay together. Clients begin with a questionnaire, allowing sessions to focus promptly on the patterns, hurts, and communication cycles affecting the relationship. Together, they explore new perspectives and practical ways to move forward. Individual counseling is also available for people seeking to understand their thoughts and choices.

Frei.Geist emphasizes a warm, clear, and honest approach, helping clients understand themselves, each other, and the dynamics behind relationship problems. The website also features a blog and the Love Note newsletter, which shares reflections and practical prompts about everyday relationship challenges and information about counseling services and appointments.
