freiraum Bestattungen

Freiraum Bestattungen is a modern funeral service based in Bad Zwischenahn, in Germany’s Ammerland region. It offers personal, creative funeral arrangements locally, throughout Germany and beyond. Guided by the belief that every farewell should reflect the life and wishes of the person being remembered, the team plans individual ceremonies, which it calls “celebrations of life.” These can be shaped around the preferences of the deceased and their loved ones, with an emphasis on meaningful memories, creativity and a welcoming atmosphere.

The company supports families following a death and also provides advance funeral planning for people arranging their own farewell or that of someone close to them. Through personal conversations, staff explain the process, answer questions and accompany families through decisions and arrangements. Freiraum Bestattungen is available around the clock to provide initial guidance. When requested, it also handles necessary formalities and applications for official documents. Its services include funeral planning, support for bereaved families, advance planning, funeral print materials and an online memorial portal.
