LEAF Local Ecology Agriculture Fremont, also known as LEAF, is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 by a group of residents in Fremont, California. Our mission is to provide families in need with fresh produce and to reverse the effects of climate change through education and the promotion of sustainable living practices. At LEAF, we offer a range of products and services that support our mission.
We have two community gardens: LEAF Center, located in the California Nursery Historical Park, and LEAF C. R. Stone Garden, situated behind Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic.
These gardens are run by dedicated volunteers who use regenerative agriculture practices to grow food and donate fresh, sustainably grown produce to local food banks. In addition, we have a nursery where we propagate seedlings for our gardens. We also offer a variety of educational programs and workshops for both children and adults.
Topics covered include beekeeping, vermiculture, composting, and much more. Join us in our efforts to create a greener and more sustainable future. Learn, grow, and make a positive impact with LEAF Local Ecology Agriculture Fremont
