French Broad Pediatrics is a pediatric medical practice based in North Asheville, serving children and families in Asheville, Buncombe County, Weaverville, Madison County, Barnardsville, Jupiter, and Burnsville. Its team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff aims to provide nurturing, thorough care through a partnership with families, emphasizing listening, education, and empowerment. The practice offers a complimentary office consultation for prospective patients.

Services include routine pediatric care, evaluation and treatment of illness, and support for children with special healthcare needs, from diagnosis through treatment. The team works to coordinate care and communicate with other doctors, helping families manage more of their child’s healthcare through one medical home. French Broad Pediatrics also provides telehealth video visits through an app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

For urgent needs, the practice offers a Saturday morning walk-in clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. for sick and urgent care; it does not handle forms, prescription refills, or physicals during these visits. Providers are also available for urgent after-hours care by phone.
