French May Arts Festival 法國五月藝術節 is the largest French arts festival in Asia and a major cultural event in Hong Kong. With over a hundred French artists invited to perform, we continue to promote creativity and cultural exchange in Hong Kong as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. This year, under the theme of Art Unites, French May presents a series of original programs spanning dance, theater, music, and more, fostering the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures and building artistic bridges between Hong Kong and France.

The exhibition Virtual Versailles Palace Tour at the Hong Kong Museum of Culture breaks geographical boundaries using digital technology and virtual reality, offering audiences a spectacular cultural feast in this pinnacle of French art. Additionally, in collaboration with Dance Reflections by Van Cleef and Arpels, we showcase contemporary dance performances by internationally renowned artists and groups, providing a wonderful cultural experience for the diverse audience in Hong Kong. This star-studded lineup, with over a hundred French artists, highlights the international aspect of our 30th festival edition.

From the Taneyev Quartet and the Karenine & Debussy Quartet to the talented pianist Théo Fouchenneret, who will be collaborating with the renowned Chinese pianist Niu Niu, and the masterful Achillea Kalamantari Puppet Theater operating giant puppets, French May Arts Festival consistently reflects the pulse of arts and culture.
